Why subscribe and read

The journal publishes articles, critical essays, book reviews, conference reports and translations. It also includes information on the most recent publications in the scientific fields it promotes as well as conference calls for papers. Every issue features an article by a renowned scholar in the relevant field published in the Emeritus Section.

Philologia is a peer-reviewed open-access journal. Its aim is to give every researcher a fair consideration to be published. Our goal is also to provide immediate, world-wide, open access to the full text of research articles. Philologia maintains a turnaround from submission to publication up to 6 months.
